Our wedding was last weekend and it was AMAZING so I wanted to share some info about the vendors we used.
Church-Sacred Heart in Weymouth-Father Dan Riley is the best! He is so down to earth and easy to talk to, made us feel so comfortable from day one. He made our ceremony so personal and sweet.
Reception-Mansfield Holiday Inn-It is not your typical Holiday Inn-it is gorgeous!! Their lobby area is like an indoor atrium garden-with light posts, waterfalls, flowers. It is beautiful. The recption room is kinda plain but the cost is so affordable we were able to get up lighting and rent table cloths to really make the room pop. There was another wedding going on at the same time (there are 2 baquet rooms) but honestly, it was never even an issue. I was worried about this but I never even knew they were there! Tom, the event coordinator was great at returning emails and phone calls right away. He set up the up lighting with their in house person for a great price and it was perfect. We are getting rave reviews from all our guests about the food, the room, the brunch the next day-delicious!! You have to check this place out!
Video-RI Video Pro-Connecticut-Dave Ladin. He was also fantastic to work with. He arrived at the salon while we were getting ready at 11am and stayed until our last dance at 10pm-all included in his extremely affordable price. I received his information from the knot and am so glad we used him. His video camera takes still photos as well so he was taking tons of pictures too. This was a huge help since we only had our photographer for 8 hours.
The Gallery House Photography-Rockland-Daria Rindone. Daria is a super upbeat, happy, bubbly person who was so much fun to work with. We were drawn to her personality from the moment we met her. She has been doing wedding photography for years but recently opened up a studio in Rockland. My mom met her out somewhere and got her card, so glad she did. She did a great job of organizing everyone to get all our must have photos. I sent her a ton of pics I liked on pinterest and she tried to recreate many of them with us, cant wait to see them! We only hired her for 7 hours due to budget but she stayed an extra hour since we were running behind on parent dances. She was a lot of fun to work with.
Limo- A Limo 4 U- Braintree- Sean was great to work with also. Our driver Ed was very nice and professional. The limo was clean and on time.
DJ-DJ Sonny Jr-Stoughton We hit it off with DJ Jr the moment we met him. We interviewed a few DJs tryign to find the right fir for us and he was definitely it. He is our age, early 30s and super nice. He demonstrated how he would do introductions and other MC moments when we met which helped us feel comfortable, and get excited! He did a great job at the wedding. We gave him a 4 page list of songs we wanted played and he played most of them, and created a CD for us to have of a bunch of our songs.
Dress-Alfred Angelo Dedham. I also had my alterations done there. Everything went well. The only complaint I have is I called them numerous times to talk to the seamstess about changing my bustle and never heard back. I had to go down there on a day I knew she was there. The seamstress only works there 2 days per week so that can be a challenge but she did great work.
Bridesmaids dresses-Manhattan Bridal Dedham I've read mixed reviews about them but they were fantastic to work with. The dresses were from Da Vinci and the only complaint I have is the hem was glued, not sewn, and we weren't informed of this. So my girsl had to have their seamstress take care of it bc some were uneven.
Hair and Makeup-Allure Spa Quincy They were fabulous! Irida did my hair and Molly did my makeup. They have a large sitting room upstairs that we got ready in and did pictures there, it was plenty of space and it is a beautiful room. The only complaint I have is I was spray tanned there on Thursday and because the floor wasnt mopped from my bridesmaids before me, my feet turned orange!! Thankfully I was able to get there on Friday and they scrubbed them and it was all ok.
Linens-Taple Toppers Newton I loved my purple table cloths! They were gorgeous. The cost is comparable to other linen companies I looked at but their selection is unbelievable. Their website does not do them justice, you have to take a walk through their huge warehouse, they have any color/pattern you could ever imagine.
Invitations-New England Art Abington Our invitations were beautiful, and super reasonably priced!!! You have to check this place out, they give a discount to everyone and if you know someone that works there, its 50% off! Huge selection and our invitations were ready in 3 days of placing the order!
Save the Dates-Stephanie Christine Photography Whitman Stephanie is a good friend and even better photographer! She is so creative, she takes amazing photos!! She does wedding photography as well, super reasonably priced-we just wanted her to be a guest at our wedding thats why we didnt use her. I have received so many compliments on our save the dates-they are on her website-she is amazing and super nice to work with!
Tuxes- Tuxedos by Merian Brockton These guys are so nice and down to earth. They drove their tux van to our best man's house, where all our guys were hanging out, fitted them all in the van-how easy is that?? then, after the wedding, they were able to just leave the tuxes at the hotel and they would come and get them there. Such a great service, and super nice to work with.
Rings Rogers jewelry Quincy Nice neighborhood feel to this place, not a chain jewelry store at all. Super nice people, very informative. Small selection but they can order anything you want. My then fiance was in there 2-3 times per week for a few weeks trying to chose my e ring. They were so patient and helpful, I had to mention them here.
