Photographer Help!

Hi Ladies,

You all were such a big help with choosing a venue so hopefully you can guide me on selecting a photographer too!

My top choices Heather Parker and Leah Haydock were both booked for our dates but Lisa Rigby was available! Keyword 'was'... I had a call scheduled with her for tonight but she emailed me this AM to let me know someone had just booked her for our date! Long distance planning sucks!

Zev Fisher and Melissa DeSchamp are also unavailable. At the moment Ashley O'dell is the only photog I've been in touch with that is open for our dates! 

Still waiting to hear back from: k. photographie, Shane Godfrey, Jen Ing...

Also planning on trying A Brilliant Photo, Krista Photo, Channing Johnson, and Glenn Livermore.

So what do you think... Any comments on those I've listed? Who else would you recommend I check out?

p.s. I've searched through old posts... can't quite put my finger on it but Berry Photo, John LoConte, and Potrait New England just aren't clicking for me

I really clicked with Berryphotos.  They're style is exactly what I was looking for and the personality was an instant hit with both of us.  You can see every wedding going back years on their website at www.berryphotos.com, hope that helps.

we're using AMW Studios. they're a great team and we just kind of clicked with them. Definitely look them up.

Our photographer, Nikki Cole (http://www.nikkiphotos.com), is incredible - she does amazing work (focused on documentary-style shots, with the necessary formal pics, too) and is really fun and easygoing. Plus, she was the wedding coordinator at the Seaport Hotel for years before opening her studio, so she knows weddings inside and out. 

I've heard good things about k. photographie, too! (Our venue, the Four Seasons, lists them as a recommended vendor.)

I second Scott Metzger! He did a family member's wedding, and did our engagement photos last fall. Very easy to work with, and he always has an assistant photographer with him, included in his price.
