Videographer? DJ? FLorist?

Hi Knotties, sorry I've been so MIA lately. THere is a lot going on in FI's family that has taken my attention away from planning. I'm trying to get re-focused.

So - can you tell me who your DJ and Florist were (only if you were happy with them) and also, did you have a videographer? if you didn't, do you regret it?

We're using John fron the Event Connection for our DJ, and Yvette from Charlotte's Designs for our florist. We did decide to do a video since many brides have told us that they regretted not having one. We're using Tim from Video Visions Forever.

I have heard nothing but good things about her, she was even written up in the Globe (since she gives a portion of her proceeds to charity). She was very affordable and flexible (I changed my mind several times).

DJ - www.djdavelynch.com - super fun and reasonable

Videographer - www.curtisweddings.com - After seeing my sisters video this is super important to me. I want to show my kids this video someday, and I love having a record of my guests and us "in motion". Plus she is really inexpensive so you can't go wrong.

Flowers - www.localcolorflowers.com - Love her so far, she works out of her home so her prices are really great, and we love her work and her attitude.

For DJ we are using Dennis McCarthy (www.bostondj.com)... Excellent to work with so far!

No videaographer as of yet! We're on the fence as well! Will be good to hear what others say.

We definitely wanted a video and I know we'd regret it if we didn't book one. Our first choice for video was True Focus Films (they used to be KVB Productions). My friends have used them and their videos are awesome (and HD!).

2 of my best friends have used her and the work is amazing (note her website looks old, but her work is beautiful!). And we just got a proposal from her and the prices are REALLY good.

For DJ, we are using Mark Cherone from Curtis Knight. They are very reasonably priced and he was recommended on the boards.

DJ- We are using Sean at Murray Hill Talent. He seems nice!

Florist- undecided.

Videographer- we are using MichaelandTriciafilms.com. They are a cute married couple and are new to the business but what they have so far is great and they are very willing to work with their clients!
