GMs Escorting BMs

Just a random question. My MOH and I were discussing this today.

Do you prefer to see the GMs enter with the BMs during the processional (more common in Catholic services), or do you prefer to see the BMs enter on their own with the GMs waiting up front with the groom?

Mostly, I have seen the Catholic style procession, even at none religious ceremonies. I don't give a smeg about the order of the procession. Just make sure there's an open bar at the reception : )

I really prefer to see the bridesmaids walk alone.  I always thought it was weird to see the groomsmen walk with the bridesmaids, it makes them appear as if they are couples.  And sometimes, the GM and BM don't even know each other!

My daughter had a Catholic mass, but the girls walked in single file.  I think its "dramatic" (in a good way) when the guys all walk out together and stand at the top of the aisle to "await" the girls.  At the end of the ceremony they do walk out together.
