I used online resources for adress eitquette.  Crane stationary's website had a helpful guide.  Try googling 'wedding envelope etiquette'.  Are you using one envelope or 2? That makes a different in the addressing for some.

    HTH!!

You mean printing on them, labels, or calligraphy? I had a calligrapher address mine for 1.25 a set. If you want her info let me know. Otherwise, you can run them through your home printer one at a time to print the addresses.

like PP said .. use online resources for etiquette questions.

as for actually addressing them ... i used a company called inkspun ... the guys name is bill. he runs the company out of his house. it's not hand calligraphy ... he prints the addresses on and charges something like .39cents per envelope.  they look great!!! i wasn't crazy about hand calligraphy and didn't want to sit at the printer for hours printing envelopes. the time was a huge issue but the possibility of screwing up expensive envelopes was another issue.

    good luck!! =)

I printed mine- which took some trial and error and readjusting but I finally got it right and I LOVE them!

My biggest issue was that even on the envelope setting on my printer the seams of the envelope kept getting caught in the printer. I used small pieces of removable tape to hold the seams down while they ran through and had no issue after that.

It was a lot of work but the results (and low cost) were worth it!

Don't be nervous...I know this was a total waste of paper but I had a box with lines around my template in word and printed them out so i could compare to the original envelope and then made whatever changes...and then i deleted the borders when I finally printed.  I found it so helpful to make sure it was centered, etc.  I would suggest this and also print your envelopes in batches...I found that also helped not overload the printer, or have it jam and also assured that the ink would be the same on all.  then i layed them out in my parent's basement (because it is cool) and sprayed that fixative that people on here recommended (i can look for the can when I am home) because i noticed that even though the printer is a LaserJet, the ink from one envelope ever so slightly rubbed on the back of another...and I was being ultra anal.
