Upstairs on the Square?

Has anyone had their reception here or been to look around?  How was it, and what kind of price range?  I have contacted them but they haven't got back to me and I'm anxious to know more about it.

I had looked into having a small wedding there, here is what they sent to me to give you a ball park idea, this was for the smaller room , not the whole restaurant, I believe They have certain times like Harvard graduation that was really busy. Hope this helps. I should add that when I was looking for pricing originally I was not telling places it was for a wedding, just a party, i was triyng to see the difference in how much they raise things, so this was for the party prices. I'm sure a wedding is more but this will give you a starting point to add on to. I know how frustrating it was to want to know at least a price range and not be able to find it and have to wait.

"50-70 guests. The costs would be as follows: $60 for a three course menu with a set first course, choice of entrée and a set dessert, a room rental of $150 per hour, 20% gratuity and 7% tax. "

Thank you so much!  That's really helpful.  We would actually be having about the same number of guests.

You're right, it's so frustrating not knowing what type of budget a place caters to.  I just want to know if it's worth even going to look at some places.

I've never attended a wedding there but we have our annual work holiday party in the "Jewel Box Bar" upstairs every year.  The space is beautiful and unique, the service is always great and they have fabulous drinks!  I've always dreamed of having my bridal shower there....love the touches of pink in the decor!

I agree with the above poster. The decor and service makes it a unique spot. Everything is great. I have been to a wedding as well as a holiday work dinner there.

HI,  We went to a wedding two years ago and it was fabulous.  It is such a unique venue.  They had a jazz band for coctail hour and a three piece combo for dinner and dancing.
    The food was amazingly good.

I think your guests would be very pleased.

    Hello,

I'm interested with this venue as well. Is that $60 per person including drinks?
