Windows on the Hudson?

Has anyone looked into them. I know that they are renovating and all of their generated pictures look like it will be a great place! I am not getting married until next summer, so was just seeing if anyone else heard of it/has seen it?

Hi - it was supposed to be ready this July, but they have cancelled everything that was booked through the end of the year.  The pictures on the website look great, but the actual site is far from that.  I do not know if they are booking anything for next year yet.  You should talk to the manager Sandy to find out - 914-693-3192.  He's very nice.  HTH and Good luck!

Don't bother. I checked it out they should knock the entire abandoned place and rebuild. Structural damage they need inspectors to check it due to the last rain storm that caused erosion. They are off schedule and might not open until next summer, they are pricey anyway and aren't even open. They will show you artist renditions and photos of food, not classy at all. The driveway is steep parking lot they use the nursing homes at night. DOn't waste your time.

wow! thanks for all the reviews. I called and left a message but looks like they are no where near being ready to cater a wedding.

If you drive by there you will turn yourself back they started but it doesn't even look like they started if they built from scratch I bet it would've bee up by now.

Hi...I looked at this last January ( 2009) for my march 2010 wedding ( just had it at fountainhead).....They told me they would be up and ready LAST summer, and the fact that they are still not ready just spells disaster...don't do it!  Check out fountainhead in new rochelle!

Former HV bride/lurker coming out of the shadows here. All I have to say is RUN AWAY!!! I got married there in May '08 when it was still the Beau Rivage. Sooo many things went wrong. The person I worked with in the begining (signed the contract with, etc) was apparently fired and the new owner refused to honor the contract I had written up with him. Also, I was supposed to get married on the outside patio but it collapsed. No big deal except nobody told me!! I called asking about something else and it came up in the conversation. This was 4 weeks before the wedding and I live in Syracuse(4 hours away)! I had to make an emergency trip down to figure things out since my DJ and Florist were already planning on working outside. For my "inconvenience," the manager promised to upgrade my menu choices plus give me the food I already picked out. Instead, at the reception, only about half of the promised food was there. The owner was rude throughout this whole ordeal. He also kept trying to sneek in extra charges after I had already signed a contract. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!

I'm newly engaged and my mom is helping to scope venues... at this point the facility is SO demoed there aren't even walls.  The project was supposed to be done in stages but something changed (possibly project building manager) and its been torn down and going ground up.  Its *supposed* to me open March of 2011, but they aren't taking bookings for any earlier than May.  But the project is no where near done enough to be considered.

Any new information from anyone on this venue?

I looked at the site last week and Silvio (the sales manager) explained that they will be up and running in June 2011.  The floor plans are stunning, but they're just that- plans with no guarantees.

Does anyone have any information from recent site visits?  I'm looking at October 2011.
