Wine Cellar at Cosimo's on Union in Newburgh...opinions??

We are thinking of using the wine cellar at Cosimo's for our rehearsal dinner...but just can't decide for sure...I'm not a huge fan of their food, but I think the wine cellar is so neat...do any of you have experiences, good or bad, to share??

Thanks!

The decision is not based on just the food...

Personally I LOVE the food as Cosimo's.  I've never had a bad meal there.  My friend's husband used to use the wine cellar for his company Christmas Parties every year and I never heard a complaint.

There is a a review of the wine cellar on Trip Advisor from someone who had their rehearsal dinner there and they gave it 5 out of 5.

I have to agree with Bella on this one!

Tue a lot of factors go into selecting the place for the night before your most special of days surrounded by family and friends. But the food SHOULD also be considered.

Selecting a place thats unique, or charming, or cool, or close is nice. But peopl will remember the food. Especialy if they don't like it.

I've never been, so I can't comment on the place, but do you want your guests to say that "Ginger and Fred picked a really cool place for their rehearsal, too bad the food sucked."

Granted yes, I'm going to extremes, but hopefully you get what I'm saying.

Find a place that you like. and a place where you (and FI) enjoiy the food. Let the other factors be used as a secondary guide. Or write out a list of the places where you like the food and rank each one with the practicality and uniquenesss to give your rehearsal dinner that special touch.

Ww had pizza in a lakeside restaurant. and know what? It was perfect!

    Good luck!

(You can totally oignore what I'm saying, but remember this, go with a place where you, the bride, at least like the food. It doesn't have to be your favorite restaurant, but should at least be a place you enjoy being)

You can always mention the wine cellar in your out of town bags if you wanted to list a unique place for your guets to try.
