photographer in Boston/Cape?

Hello ladies!Do you know of any great, affordable photographers in the Boston/Cape Cod area? (wedding is mid-cape) I feel like I have searched all photographers in the area, and the ones we can afford comfortably don't blow me away, and the ones I love are way out of our price range! Budget is a little flexible - we don't want to spend $5,000, but good pictures are very important to us! We love a mix of photojournalist candid shots as well as traditional pictures. Any suggestions or references?? Thanks!! :o)

We used Erin Chapman, ecimagery.com.  She's still editing our wedding pics (our wedding was the 8th), but our e-pics (included in the package) were phenomenal.  Let me know if you'd like to see the gallery and I can email you the info. I can also link you to our wedding pics when they're up if you're interested. Also, her packages start at $1200 for basic coverage and go up and up depending on what you want. We got the basic package and added 3 hours to get a full day of coverage. My husband is going to do the albums himself (he does photography/editing), so we didn't include that in the package.  My then-fiance was really, really picky about the photographer- I think he picked a real winner!

I recommend Jennifer White, based out of the Taunton/Cape Area. Her prices are very reasonable and I believe she is having a special with free engagement pictures right now.email: jlwphoto@gmail.comblog:  www.jenwhiteblog.blogspot.com

Just click her blog link to see Jennifer's samples. Also, I recommend my photog and you can click my bio below to see pics. Her name is Randi Baird and she is based out of Martha's Vineyard but if you are willing to check out Cape photogs she travels to the Cape I know. She is on the more expensive side but you should still come in under 5000 if you go for a lesser package.

I love my photog, Agnieszka Wormus, www.abrilliantphoto.com. I think her prices are pretty reasonable, and she does GREAT work.  She is in Boston, but doesn't charge a travel fee to the Cape (where I'm getting married). GL!

Have you talked with Amy Dykens?  She is based in Brewster and did my Cape wedding this past spring.  I cannot express how happy I was both with her during the day and with the pictures.  I'd be happy to share the link to my proofs, if you would like.  Email me at enmanning2002 at yahoo.com

I highly recommend Elizabeth Horne. She's based out of the Cape and was so great to work with (reasonably priced, too!). I couldn't have been happier with my photos! Her website is www.elizabethhornephotography.com. I also have some pics in my bio if you want to get an idea of her work. :)

Another one for John LoConte. He did your e-pics and I couldn't be happier. Can't wait for him to photograph the wedding!

Adrenalin, you have to check out Chris Cook Photography... he is an amazing photographer who only does the Cape. He knows every location thoroughly which was so important to me when looking for a photog. His full packages run between 4k-5k for absolutely everything! He sounds like exactly what you are looking for. Check out some of his work at http://www.cookphoto.com/gallery.html His studio is in Harwich (mid-cape!) Let me know if you are going to meet with him. I'd love to hear how it goes!!! Best of luck.

Hey, I have to recommend our photographer, Connie Miller of Studio Atticus. I just signed a contract with her. Her coverage is full day coverage and she has a photojournalistic/documentary style of photography. She does capture the moments but she also does have some of the traditional types of photos too. Check her out. www.studioatticus.com.
