I booked Jose Reyes, based in Nyack. Our engagement pictures turned out great and I can't wait to see how our wedding pictures will come out. He did a wonderful job on my brothers wedding. He really has an amazing eye for artful photography. I looked at about 10 different photographers. He is a little pricier than most of the photographers that ladies on this board recommended to me, but I think he's worth every penny for the quality he delivers.

We are using Steven Planck out of Wappingers Falls.  His company is called Blue Sky Photography.  He was the photographer for one of my friend's wedding & her pictures came out beautiful, so we booked him!!! He is very personable as well.

We used Melissa Lynn -- http://beimaged.com. She rocks and she worked with us to create a package that worked with our budget. If she still offers what she offered to us, her price range is from $1400-$3000, and trust me, it is such a steal.

Robert Wayne Photography (http://www.robertwaynephotography.com).  He's located in northwest NJ, but he showed us a number of sample weddings including some in Poughkeepsie and Goshen.  Very reasonably priced for our area.  For less than $3k, we're getting full day coverage, a beautiful high-end photographic album, two coffee-table books, and the disc of images.
