Tan Line Dilema!!! HELP

Hello Brides,    I need your help in figuring out how to get rid of tan lines.  I went to the beach on July 4th and got burnt (really burnt) while wearing my halter top bathing suit.  I figured no problem, how long could tan lines last for?  Well apparently my original estimation of a few weeks was grossly understated because here it is 8 weeks later and they are still fairly visible.  I have my shower in 2 weeks, I am a bridesmaid in a wedding on 10/10, and I am getting married on 11/7.What do I do?!  I have practically loffah-ed my skin off, but nothing!Do I:Airbrush (Can anyone recommend a place?)I would rather not spray tan if possible (bad experience)Tan in a tanning bed within an inch of my life in hopes of evening it out?Don't go near a tanning contraption and wait patiently for nature to take its course?I went to get fitted today for my STRAPLESS bridesmaid dress and I look ridiculous with these 2 month old tan lines.HELP!!

I'm very against tanning beds so whatever you do stay far far away from them. Besides being TERRIBLE for your health, they'll just make your tan skin darker and your untanned lines more visable. I'd recommend airbrushing but you need to try it out first incase it runs or rubs off on something else. I don't really know of any places so I'm no help with that. Also, maybe self tanner? I'd try out a few brands in the untanned areas to see if you can make those any less visable and make the lines more seamless. hth!

can you lay out in the sun one day (or two or three)?  That should even it out.

I would recommend the self-tanner route, or avoiding being out in the sun which would darken the already tan areas, especially if you wear tank tops or v-neck/scoopneck shirts.

I think it's Neutrogena that sells tanning wipes. You could use them to wipe on the non-tan parts. Start once a day, maybe gradually the colors will match. Wear gloves though! You don't want overly tan hands!

A word of caution with self-tanner.....I put it on several hours before an event where I wore a very pretty baby blue dress for a formal dinner, and on the walk back to the car it started to downpour, and the tanner ran all over my dress and stained it.  Moral of the story: Please don't self-tan day of!

if that doesn't work, buy some stage makeup.  you can get it to match, and it will not run-its meant to hold up through sweat and hot lights/ HTH

I agree I would start with tanning lotions/creams. Start experimenting now to see what works best.

If you are not opposed to going to a tanning salon...then start asap. I am getting married on oct 3rd and I have been going since mid august.    Airbrush tanning lasts five to seven days generally. If you can afford to splurge $40 for it try it now. Doing both will enhance your color so go for it!! What do you have to lose?? You have a week to test it, and make sure you use a GOOD bronzing indoor lotion WITHOUT DHA...thats the stuff that makes you look orange because it is a self tanner.   Good luck and let me know how it goes!!!
