WTF this week is ridiculous because I was asked to come in on friday (which is my work from home day) because we are short staffed due to vacations.  FINE I will come in, and pout the entire day because I'm not on my couch snuggling with my pup.  A co-worker has to nerve to call this morning and say she can't "make it in today".  WFT she didn't even to say she was "sick"... GET YOUR @$$ in here!

"WTF, today/this week is ridiculous because of all the mommies who need to spend 5 minutes holding up traffic to triple check that their child is indeed sitting on the school bus and that the driver has gone through every necessary background check to transport their angels to and fro. WTF?! Drop and go, lady!" I might add that there are 3 schools in the 4 mile stretch from my house to the high way. Traffic suuuuuucks.

Meaghan - I work in politics so it's my job to put together such receptions with about 2 wks notice! Fun times! My advice to you is a couple of stations (cheese/veggies) and easy passed apps - like shrimp/coconut chicken. Won't take the caterer's that long to prepare so should keep them happier.

WTF-Why does my cat feel the need to constantly OPEN my closet door, head to my bureau (and open it), and take out ALL my undergarments to sleep on? ... I love him SO much though.

WTF: FI is driving me crazy about the cars!  We bought a 3rd car 2 months ago (his DREAM car, supposedly), and now are realizing it's too expensive to keep all three.  My car is old, cheap and needs to go in for repairs--but I own it outright--no car payments, cheap insurance.  His dream car is the most expensive in terms of monthly payments & insurance.  And then his OTHER car we are upside down (i.e. we owe more than it's worth).  First he says he wants to sell one car, then the other, then trade them both in and get a cheap car, then trade them both in for an expensive car....it's frickin endless--he changes his mind every few hours and feels the need to call me and discuss.  I am so sick of hearing about the cars!!!  Upside?  Going to the movies tonight to NOT talk about cars!

leah: HAHAHA....I don't have a biology background and yet I've worked as a biologist for 6+ years...figure THAT one out.  I am constantly bored in meetings where I have no idea what they are talking about.  I am always telling my boss: "I don't know anything about biology.  I don't know what you are talking about."  It's all gibberish to me.  But apparently I am good at my job (I work in the lab) bc I've gotten 2 promotions since I've been here, 3 big awards, and was one of like maybe 2 people at my level who kept their job when we had a big layoff earlier in the year (phew!).  I laughed when I read your post mentioning kinases and receptors bc I was like, "OMG, I SHOULD know what that means!"

WTF, this week is ridiculous because we're trying to paint our front porch and it's much harder prep work than we anticipated.  And this wedding is making us too poor to hire someone.  I hate home ownership right now! WTF!

Hahaha....I love this ladies. To those who wrote that their mothers were driving them crazy (I hate to tell you this) it continues through the day of the wedding. WTF
