Cake cutting songs?

wth-- who knew we needed this? Also... any offerings you would like to give for an entrance/introduction songs for bride/groom and wedding party would be great.

We did "Happy Together" by The Turtles for cake cuttingEntrance songs, we did "Solid" by Ashford & Simpson (this is kind of our joke song", and "Danger Zone" for bridal party.  Danger Zone kind of backfired because the DJ didn't start it at the right place, like we asked him to!

We did "How Sweet It is to be loved by you" by James Taylor...and yeah, I think I chose it the day before our wedding. Didn't really give it any though. Bridal Party - Shipping up to Boston Bride/Groom - Drop it like it's hot, Snoop Dogg (seriously, it was awesome, haha)

For out entrance songs, we're going to have a theme, but not 100% sure of what yet. My semi-serious, semi-joking favorite is Britney Spears, so we were thinking of having each bridal party couple walk in to a Britney song - BM1 and Usher1 walk into to "Circus", BM2 and Usher2 walk in to "Hit me Baby", etc. Also thinking of doing the above theme, but with Michael Jackson or Beatles Music instead. For the cake, use your favorite oldies song, it seems like the perfect place for it. I've heard "Build Me up Buttercup" "Lollipop" (The Dell commercial verison, NOT the x-rated!), that song that goes "Sugar, oh honey honey. You are my candy girl, and you've got me wanting you", etc.

We did "Ice Cream" by Sarah Mclachlan (well, the band did their version), which I loved, since the lyrics are "Your love is sweeter than ice cream, sweeter than chocolate, etc."

And we did "Sweet Caroline" for the bridal party's entrance, and "Beautiful Day" for ours.(The ice cream song was for the cake cutting, of course.)
