Going dress shopping! Suggestions wanted...

My mom and future MIL are flying up from Charleston and Atlanta to go dress shopping in a few weeks and I'm trying to plan out the weekend. I live in Brighton, and so far have decided to check out Camilla's, Gianna's and Vows, mainly because I have heard some good things and because of their location to me. Any other suggestions of dress shops in my general area would be greatly appreciated! (don't really want to go somewhere more than an hour away)

I had fantastic luck at Marry and Tux in Nashua, NH.  Don't know if that's too far for you or not, but they had gorgeous dresses and their prices are good.

Another Priscilla of Boston bride here! I had such a wonderful experience there. :) I also went to Bella Sera in Danvers- loved it there! (about 30 mins from the city).

I bought my dress at Sabella Couture on Tremont St. in Boston. Maria is the owner and the seamstress and she definitely knows her stuff on what can and can't be altered.

I was just at Chrissy's in Canton, which is probably 30 min from brighton. They were amazing and found the perfect dress!

Thanks guys! I'm checking out the websites now. Question, does anyone know the price range of dresses at Bella Sera?

We had a good experience getting the BM dresses at Allegria - if you're going to Vows in Watertown, it's just down the street in Belmont! GL!

I third Marry & Tux. These ladies suggested it to me when I was looking to go dress shopping and it was well worth the 45 minute drive. Wonderful service, amazing selection, fair prices, and NO SALES TAX!! I found my dream dress there just last week.

Do NOT buy your bridal gown at Allegria. I got mine there and it was one problem after another. They were so nice at Camilla's. La Reine has pretty dresses but not so nice staff. I got my bride's maid dresses at Priscillas and they were great. Good luck.

i got mine at bridal secret in quincy.i will say that they are awesome.. i changed my mind numerous times and had a mental breakdown over the wedding while on my way there. The owner and staff were just awesome in making sure everything was perfect

I highly recommend that you stay away from French's Bridal in Beverly, MA.  Their dresses are ridiculously overpriced and their customer service is beyond rude.  They will try to take advantage of anyone who walks through their door. Go to Pure Bliss in Newburyport!  They are wonderful!
