Only reason we are doing this long is that my cousin is getting married August 2010 I am her MOH and she is my MOH. Planning weddings back to back would be crazy!

Yay!  Congrats!  :)We have a 2.5 year engagement and even that's not enough!    But the time FLIES!  Now we're under 9 months...

We had a 2+ year engagement for the same reason.  It does fly by...seems like just yesterday that we were at the 2-year mark.Congrats!  Have some wine and celebrate with FI!

Congrats! It really does fly--but stretch out the fun stuff (picking out the dress, finding the venue, just being excited) as much as you can!

Thanks so much everyone! I am definitly taking my  time with the fun stuff that's for sure. Not going to look for a dress till possibly next Summer. Our church and venue are booked and those were the two things I worried about most. Our engagement party is Sunday I know we will have a great time! We celebrated last night as last night was also our 1 year 9mnth anniversary!
