Bride's Entrance Song

Happy Friday!  Just curious what everyone is planning on or did walk down the aisle to?  I'm starting to think about that and not sure if I will walk to Canon in D or something else.

We had the wedding party walk to "Sheep May Softly Graze" and I walked to "Air on a G String," both by Bach.

Parents and grandparents - Arrival of the Queen of Sheba BMs - Canon in D Me - Wedding March I rallied to get our string quartet to play Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" for my entrance, but everyone adamantly vetoed it.  They did play "Bittersweet Symphony" right after we were pronounced H&W.

Canon in D for Bridesmaids. Wedding March for me. About as traditional as you can get and I loved it! There was never a question that I would be sticking to the book on this one.

I have been trying to figure out what to walk down to too. I am having the bridal party walk down to "Bittersweet Symphony" by the Vitamin String Quartet. After we are announced H&W we are walking out to "Hallelujah I Love Her So" by Ray Charles. I'm not sure what song would fit for me to walk down the aisle to with these.

They have to fit? ;-) Oh! Maybe that's why our DJ is so confused about our musical likes/dislikes, ha ha. I'm walking down to a song that is very sentimental to my dad and me, it is from an old movie. Then the rest of our selections are all over the map, but to us they make perfect sense.

I'm doing "A Day Without Rain" by Enya for myself - Torn between a few songs for the bridal party/family - I love "Shepherd Moon" by Enya but almost feel like it sounds sad, though I think it's so beautiful! I also love "Watermark" by her. Enya is a huge favorite in myself and my family, as many of the songs remind us of my deceased, loving grandmother - especially my dad - so it only fits that I walk down to it :) Another one I love that was in the running is the crchestral "unchained melody" - think the movie Ghost LOL probably a bit recognizable from the movie, but I think it's absolutely gorgeous!

We had "Some Kind of Wonderful" by Peter Cincotti.  My oldest friend was the vocalist so she sang the verses first, BMs walked down to instrumental and I walked down for the last big verse.  We had a jazz themed wedding

Non-secular church so I'm using Edelweiss for my entrance. Girls are coming into In My Life - Beatles Recessional - Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder

Non-secular is religious music.  Secular is non-religious music
