Reviews/Experience with La Reine Boutique in Waltham?

They carry both the Casablanca and Wtoo lines, so I could try on all my possibles in one stop. Anyone have any experiences with them?

I would look somewhere else. Several girls on here have had horror stories, including spuccio (who is getting married today). They gave her dress away to someone else and were really sketchy about it. She ended up contacting the manufacturer, who fixed the whole thing, but the salon was not helpfukl at all.

I know spuccio got her dress there and it was a total nightmare. They switched her and another girl's dress and didn't own up to the mistake. She had to send the dress to the designer in Canada (on her own dime) to have it fixed because the measurements were so off! I think the store didn't even want the girls to come back and switch so they could get their own dress! I've heard really mixed reviews about the place, in general, on the board, but most of them lean towards the negative. I'm sure there are stores in your area that carry those designers that have waaayyy better customer service.

I was going to go dress shopping here but I heard SUCH awful things about it from multiple people. Google it and check the reviews, they were all negative. It just didn't seem worth it to me to deal with that crap even though they carried the dress I though I wanted.

I tried dresses on there and went somewhere else. Just check the better business bureau rating online - that's a pretty good way to measure if you'd like to choose that store.  ...and checking the rating online is free.

I tried on dresses there but ultimately went else where for my dress. The service was ok, nothing special, but def nothing to write home about. After hearing about Leah's and Spuccio's stories I'd recommend looking there not but shopping there. You could always find one you love there and then order it for cheaper online at pearl's place or rkbridal.

We went shopping for MOB and MOG dresses there and did not have a good experience. I agree with the other ladies. Search elsewhere!

I shopped there. I was trying to decide between a dress at LaReine and the dress I ended up buying. The first time I went to LaReine they were very nice and helpful but when I went back a second time, the salesgirl and owner were very nasty. It was to the point that my MOH said something. In the end, it wasn't the dress I wanted and so I was glad I wouldn't have to deal with them. GL

I went there to look at BM dresses, made an appointment and everything.  I showed up at my scheduled time, and was told "no BM dress shopping on Saturdays, Saturdays is for Brides"  I responded to the owner or whoever this person was....I made an appointment last night with so and so, for this time, and let her know that it was for BM dresses.  She turned me away and wanted me to schedule for another day.  I told her I wouldn't be coming back.  They're pretty craptastic.

Wow!! Holy crap, I wonder how she can still be in business with awful customer service like that! I mean everyone makes mistakes occasionally, but it's all in how you handle it. I am glad I asked you ladies! I thought of checking the BBB report, but isn't that kind of 1-sided? I mean you'd only call the BBB if you had a bad experience? I didn't even think about googling it though, it's so simple. Duh! Maybe at the end of the day, it'll work out for me to try dresses on at 2 different salons. That way I can take my mom to one and my dad to another ... just got divorced last spring and they're not being civil. I can imagine it's going to make pre-wedding festivities and seating tons of fun ........ hopefully by then it won't be so new.

Oh darn! Looks like they're the only shop in MA that carries the full Wtoo line. I'll try-on there, but won't buy there, then.

I'm sure the BBB is semi one-sided, but my shop got an A rating and I love it, so someone must be saying good things.  Most bridal shops I looked at got pretty good ratings.  You can look this one up on there yourself, and check out some other shops in the area to see the difference - good luck.

I may be in the minority, but I my mom and I both got our dresses there and loved them.  We went on the receommendation of a friend who also loved them.  We're doing alterations elsewhere, but I only have positive things to say about my experience there.

I went to La Reine... I had a great time. The Staff was great and I had alot of family with me.You get a huge  fitting room and a sitting area for your guests. While I was there another bride was trying on dresses and she was a "horror Show" I felt bad for her consultant. I bought my dress with Jessica, and I will be back for bridesmaids. I think some brides forget the consultants jobs arent always easy. If you have a bad attitude walking in you may get it back, it dosent matter what you are buying... I will update at my bridesmaid appointment
