Charles Hotel Cambridge or the Museum of Science?

Anyone been to a wedding in the Rialto at the Charles in Cambridge? What about the Museum of Science? Thanks!

I didn't get a chance to look at the Charles Hotel since it was booked for my date when we were looking at venues and we had to sadly rule out MOS since they only use Wolfgang Puck catering and can't accommodate an Indian caterer. If the caterer isn't an issue for you (and with Wolfgang Puck, how could it be bad? lol), MOS would be gorgeous with the views of the river and the skyline.

They are very different so I think you would need to decide what type of wedding you want before choosing. Have been to weddings and planned events for work and a non-profit at both. Rialto is sophisticated, very intimate and it feels like you and your party are enjoying a chic evening in at a private club with excellent service. MOS is much bigger and bolder with its views and larger rooms. It has more of a large, festive party feel because of the way the space is set up and the type of food service they do. I find the Rialto staff easier to work with than the MOS primarily because weddings and parties are all they are doing. At the MOS they do corporate and other events (non-wedding, non-party) events and found that communicating with them takes more effort and that some things (arranging rental drop offs and pick ups, florist coordination) require extra prodding.
