Invitations on a budget

Hey everyone!! Happy wedding planning!! Im getting married next may and am choosing Tiffany Blue/Pool and Light purple as my colors in addition to white of course. I am having the hardest time finding cute and affordable invitations. Any ideas?? I have checked out about a billion websites and nothing. Thanks in advance!!

If you really want to save, I'd hit the clearance racks or DIY.  I was just at Michael's and they had print your own invites on clearance for under $1/invite.  I am DIYing mine, and should be around $100-150 for 100 invites. If you have some idea of what you want, the girls here can help you get it done.  :)
Yay! Finally able to update my signature :)

I was at Marshalls recently and they had tiffany blue & white invitations, STD's, and TY cards. They were $14.99 a 40 count. They were by Brides magazine. I bought the all white ones for my wedding and only spend $45 on invites. These were obviously the DIY ones of course but they came out great!

Use etsy.com  You can go on the site and put out an alchemy to designers specifing what you want, how many, and how much you are willing to pay and the designers bid on the project.  That way they can make it in the colors you want.  We had a two panel flat invitation with postcard rsvp, and direction card with envelopes (return address included)  75 for $150.  Most of the designers will send out sample of their products.  Our designer was daisiesndoodlebugs.  She was great to deal with

I also recommend using Etsy.com!  I ended up using Lindsey Ryan Design.  She gave me an amazing deal!  GL.

Another vote for Etsy--try Lindsey Ryan. She did my invites, and I loved them (and my ceremony programs). You can see my invites here: http://picasaweb.google.com/KylahGMcNeill/Wedding#

I bought my invitations at Michael's using the 40-50% off coupons they post weekly. I think they have some really cute purple ones, and you can do the font in blue. that's what we did.

I can't say enough about my etsy designer, designerpi.  She will make invites in any colors you want, double sided so you don't need enclosure cards, and RSVPs on postcards to save postage.  She has a ton of designs and you can change the layouts, fonts, wording, whatever you like.  Super affordable.

I usually post on the NH board, but hopped over here to take at look. I ended up getting my invites at Ac Moore went back a few time with the 40% off coupon. I also did not have rsvp cards I put at the bottom on my invite please rsvp to our wedding email (went green). This saved us money on the rsvp cards but also the stamps. When all was said and done 50 invites with stamps cost me about $38 all together.Hope this helps. And congrats

I got mine at Discount Invitations USA. PIB under Paper/DIY if you're interested. I was really happy with the price and the quality. Here's their website http://discount.cceasy.com
