Hey Girls, Although I didnt post much prior our wedding I was always on the boston board reading what you girls had to say, so first of all I want to thank you ALL for all your advice, I didnt have much time to post before the wedding to thank you girls since I was traveling from N.C to Boston but I wanted to get my vendor reviews up quick b/c I know a few of you are getting married at The Andover Country Club in the next month or so and wanted to get those up, plus I always loved the vendor review posts ... ok sorry to drag on, Here are the reviews ( I honestly dont think I have a bad thing to say about ANY of my vendors) St. Michael Parish, North Andover, MA - This Church is amazing, I dont think I have ever seen a more beautiful church. I found St. Michaels online b/c I wanted a church that was close to our reception venue, from my first phone to call to The Church and Father J. Delaney I knew I wanted to get married there, the priest was awesome and anwsered all my questions and I had alot seeing as I was Catholic and my husband is not -I know that many places will give you a hard time if you are not both Catholic but Father Delaney told me that as long as netiher of us had been married before he had no problems marrying us. Everything went amazing that day and everyone from the priest, to the altar servers, to the organist to the coordinator was beyond nice and helpful. I dont have a bad thing to say. A+++ The Andover Country Club - Trumpeter's Room - I went to a bridal show here about 18 months ago, and had probably only been engaged for 2 months and as soon as I walked into the ACC I fell in Love, the grounds are beautiful but I was convinced it was WAY out of my price range being a private county club and I Forgot about it until I stared to plan my wedding which was about 6 months later, I requested information and was in shock when I saw there prices, the are So reasonable, of course I checked out a few other places but NOTHING compared to the ACC - as far as my wedding day, the went above and beyond ANYTHING I could have hoped or asked for. Tracy was amazing, being an out of town bride I felt a little overwhelmed, she was so accomaditing and always worked with me in my time limits when I was up on mini wedding planning trips. The food was amazing, all of our guests have raved that the food was awesome, unfortunately I only had about 3 bites but thats what happens when you are the bride! I would recommend anyone to the ACC. - A++++ Flowers - Agora Whispers of Spring - I found Desi through a friend on facebook, and couldnt be happier. I knew what I wanted for flowers but I am horrible at explaining my visions. I spoke to about 10 different florists and just wasnt satisifed, when I first spoke with Desi she had a way of relaxing me and telling me even if I didnt know what I wanted she would make it amazing, and she did. Her prices COULD NOT be beat. Although I was controlling in some areas of my wedding when it came to someone who did this for a living I let them do the work - I trusted Desi to make my flowers amazing and she FAR exceeded any expectation I had. Again would highly recommend her to any Bride A++++ Chair Covers- Simply Elegant Linens - Best prices I found, not much to say besides they were beautiful and Gina was Great to work with!!! A++ Photography- Lexi Photography - Lexi is amazing, she has a different style then most photographers and although it will be a while until I see pictures I cannot say a bad word about her. My engagement shoot with her was great and although I dont remember seeing her much at the wedding eveyone said she didnt stop taking pictures - and thats what I wanted I didnt want someone to be in my face, pose this way pose that way - I wanted someone who captured the moments as they happened and thats exactly what she did she took natural in the moment pictures and thats all I can ask for, so pending photos Lexi is an A++ Videographer - The Perfect Image - Great to work with, great prices - the videogrpaher was a last minute (3 weeks before wedding) addition and I will tell any bride to make sure to have one. I am so glad I did because I missed so much - the day FLIES by and although you enjoy it so much you miss alot - Pending Video - A+ Limo- Lynette's Limousine - They were great, I know they have had some bad press lately, but they did exactly what I wanted and what I hired them to do, they were there on time, got me to the church, got us back to the reception and our driver was really nice, My only complaint was I originally thought he was crazing taking 495 in rush hour on Friday afternoon and not the back roads, but I was wrong - if he had listened to me we would have been late to the church. Although you may think you know better than the driver, you dont well alteast in my case I didnt - he got us there on time and if he listened to me we would have been late ... way late!!! A++
