I also think vendors that send harassing emails like this DJ should be banned from the boards and that their post should be taken down.

I will be the lone voice of dissent here. And it's nothing personal to any of the brides on here. From the viewpoint of someone who is very involved in the wedding industry (as a pastry chef), bad reviews can be damaging to a small business like a lot of vendors are.My point though is that there are 2 sides to every story. I don't think anyone who feels legitimately and honestly like a vendor deserves their negative feedback should feel like they cannot give it. If you're secure in your reasoning you have nothing to fear when it comes to a possible vendor response. And honestly, I think it's more helpful to the brides who lurk looking for information to see both sides rather than just one. My only gripe is this one- the thread should *not* be locked afterwards. If there's going to be a review and then a response there should be discourse allowed to continue from there (as long as it remains respectful).

    Are you serious???

I'm not a boston knottie. I used to be a lot more involved but it was too much drama for me. I think vendors should not be allowed on the knot. There are so many ways this can go wrong. I would not lock the post. The person who made the review will need to be able to respond to what the vendor replied with. If the post gets out of hand I would lock it or delete it.
