I saw in the post below about how you made your table numbers: they look great!  I went to a wedding a couple weeks ago where the couple did their table numbers like that.  One suggestion I have: if you mount them on cardstock add a line at the bottom typed that says "Rome 6" or whatever the text is, or if you put them in a frame add the text to the mat.  When we were actually in the room with the evening lighting it was hard to tell which table was which (especially for the older guests).  I had trouble at first figuring out which was which too, and the bride had already shown them to me ahead of time!  Don't mean to butt in, and obviously you don't have to do that, but I think it's an awesome idea and just wanted to pass along my suggestion.

    Thanks for the suggestion!  I haven't really completed the project totally so I havne't thought out how I'll display them, but I'll definitely consider that.  I can see how the number/word get's "lost" in the picture.  I also plan to write the table NAME on the placecard, so the guest can look for "table 6" or "table Rome"...if that makes sense?
