Wedding Venues Rockland County/Bergen County

Hello everyone!

I'm newly engaged and new to the site. I wondered if any of you ladies have any suggestions for venues in Rockland or Bergen county. I'm looking for a place that I can have an outdoor ceremony on site. I'd love to hear your opinions!

my favorite place in bergen that had a spot for an outdoor ceremony was florentine gardens. it was my 2nd choice (we ended up deciding on getting married in westchester instead) and it's gorgeous!

I second the View too! We're having our ceremony there.

For Jersey, I like Florentine Gardens too. These aren't technically Bergen County, but Nanina's in the Park is very pretty and my FSIL had her wedding at il Tulipano and the food was amazing and they have an outdoor space that's gorgeous!

I loved Florentines, but their minimums were too large for us. Patriot Hill looks pretty too. We ended up taking New York Country Club in New Hempstead. check out their new website:

I'm having an outdoor ceremony at Patriot Hills this August. The rain plan will be to hold the ceremony in the ballroom.  I saw some pictures of an indoor ceremony, and it won't be so bad if there is rain or the temperature is too high.  It's been absolutely smooth sailing with this venue!  The prices are reasonable, the menu options are wonderful and the staff is flexible, personable and knowledgeable.

Before booking, I also researched the View and the Nyack Seaport. They, too, offer an outdoor ceremony site.

Our reception was at Patriot Hills but we weren't married there. I cannot say enough good things about the venue, and Gina, the coordinator we worked with. Everything went absolutely perfectly, the location is gorgeous, and the food is delicious. My husand and I keep hoping that someone we know gets married there so that we can attend as guests.

We are having our ceremony and reception at The Rockleigh.  It is right over the border from Rockland County and is off 303.   We choose The Rockleigh because it is elegant and had a pretty outdoor area.  Another thing we liked is that the alternate indoor location (in the event of rain) is beautiful.

    Other places to consider:
-Florentine Gardens-I liked this outdoor area more than their ballroom.
    - Ramsey Country Club- My cousin had an outdoor ceremony there...very pretty.
    - The Valley Regency- Has a pretty gazebo structure and manicured plants.
-The View- My brother had his reception there.  The outdoor ceremony area is really small and people can just walk by and walk (not very private).

We had our ceremony and reception at Patriot Hills and had a wonderful experience.  In Bergen you can check out Florentine Gardens and Rockleigh like other girls suggested.  You will find higher prices in Bergen than Rockland though so if $$ is an issue, keep that in mind.

Look at The Tides in North Haledon, NJ.  Speak with Ron.  He's a doll.  Don't be afraid to ask for extras (he's really good about it).  The outdoor gardens are gorgeous and the price was very good for what you get.  I've heard nothing but great things about the food (one of the best CH's going).  Good luck!

Colonial Inn in Norwood NJ. It's right over the border of Rockland County.
