Anyone go to Fenway Bridal Show?

Just wanted to know if anyone else went to the Bridal Show at Fenway today and what you thought? We went late, about 4:00, because we were going to the fashion show at 6:00 and figured we'd walk around and see vendors for a couple hours and then go to the show.  When we got there, a lot of the vendors were packing up and leaving, even though it was advertised from 10-6.  The fashion show wasn't really good either.  There weren't any men or kids in the show, just the same few women, all about the same age, modeling bride, bridemaid's and mother's dresses.  We spent $60.00 on the tickets and felt like I didn't get much for it.  Is this the first year they have done that show at Fenway? I have been to other shows/expos like at the Bayside Expo that were much better.

FI and I went - we got there at about 10:30 and it was pretty busy. Our wedding is in 4 weeks and we have all our vendors, so we more or less went because it was at Fenway and we were just kind of keeping our eye out for any little "extras" we could add to the day at this point. I thought they had an okay assortment of vendors but thought the way they had it set up didn't really make a lot of sense...you couldn't go out the way you came in, which we didn't realize til the very end so we did a lot of walking from one end of the park to the other. But, FI did get to take batting practice, so that was the highlight for him.I'm not sure if they've done this event in the past...if they did, I wasn't aware of it.

FSIL and I went- we didn't do the extra stuff that cost extra money ($60 for a fashion show seems pretty steep!) So the bridal show part was good, but we got there earlier and stayed less than 2 hours. You didn't have to be present to win the prizes, but as far as I know, I haven't won anything. :( I hope someone on here wins one of the "weddings at fenway" so I can at least hear about it!

I went early, we got there at about 8am for the "Champagne Breakfast". We paid extra for this and there was no champagne!! Apparently by law they can't serve alcohol before noon - why call it a champagne breakfast then?!?!? I was very disappointed with this show, it seemed like it was thrown together at the last minute. The actual vendors were good, but I wish it was a bit more organized - not to mention the fact that they expect you to stay there for 14 hours??? Since we got there so early we had already gone to each vendor by about 11:30 - there was no way we were going to sit there and wait until 6 for the fashion show to start! I hope next time they do this (if there is a next time) they hire someone even slightly competant to run things.

We got there at 4pm. By 4:30 most vendors were packing up and by 5 it was almost completely shut down. I was disapointed.  They shouldn't have advertised 6pm if that wasn't the case.  We did see a couple of good vendors and now we really want a cigar roller at our wedding!

I went around 2pm and then went back for the fashion show (they didn't make me pay extra for the tickets?). I found the organization of the show to be very bad - no one knew where to go throughout the day and they had few security guards on staff to show the way and NO signage. I id find some of the vendors to be helpful and actually met Jenni V in person - remember her?

I went and had the same general impression - it was somewhat disorganized/difficult to navigate, but I wonder if the fact that it was raining had anything to do with it. It may have been laid out in a more thoughtful way and changed up at the last minute because of the weather. There were some helpful vendors there, though, so I did get a few ideas (and am now on 8 million mailing lists...)! What's the story on Jenni V? I also met her and loved her display - thinking about setting up a consultation with her for my 10.23.10 wedding. Anything I should know?

My mom, sister, grandmother, fiance and I all went.  We also planned to go to the fashion show, so we got there at about 4:00 pm.  Everyone was packing up, some of the vendors were rude to us (!), and the fashion show was a joke.  It was seriously disapointing.

I think Jenni V was recently outed as a vendor posing as a bride here (maybe a couple weeks ago?) I saw her display but I didn't talk to her. It was kind of disorganized, but do-able. I think it was the "first annual" so if they keep doing this, hopefully they get some feedback and fix the problems they had. We didn't do a "Fenway Tour"(but I have in the past) but it was kind of cool to walk almost anywhere you wanted. I'm also a sucker for the free junk you get at these things (pens, chapstick, whatever) and I got plenty of junk!
