MET: in college, when we first moved into the freshmen dorms. FUNNIEST:  Funny is when we're in Target, I walk away for a minute, then find out that DH has turned around and put his arm around a girl that he thought was me, and then having said girl through a fit.  This happens about 1x a month.  He's so absent-minded sometimes, it's ridiculous.

Meaghan, too funny...  That's one of those replies people usually come up with after the fact! A bunch of super preppy guys walk by and scream, "get a room!" Mike looks up from kissing me and says, "got one over there, get a girl!" Their jaws dropped and they stuttered a bunch of nothing and walked away.

Evs, luckily DH doesn't look like a child molester or anything.  He couldn't harm a fly and it's written all over his face. When he finally finds me in another aisle he says, "Where were you?!?!?  I just made an a$$ of myself again!  She looked just like you from behind!"  Ughhh, what I am going to do with him...

How We MetSteve & I met in January 2004 under the rotunda of The Boston Harbor Hotel en route to a ski trip organized by our mutual friends, Maura and Kathy.Out numbered by the ladies in his carpool, he was quiet upon my approach. Unsure if he was “the friend from work” traveling with us up to Conway I said hello. He replied “allo” which was heard in a French accent of sorts.As the car made its way over the Tobin Bridge and up Route One, the girls and I were in the midst of quick-paced conversation.Steve would nod politely and laugh along. I was convinced his reserve was due in part to English being his second language. Then, we made a stop about an hour into the trip for dinner during which he revealed his all-American wit and charm.

Umm, well, we met online...yahoo personals!  so original...One funny thing that comes to mind is the time we ate at Chili's and went to leave, and I couldn't find my car keys...they were lost!  Oh no, what to do?!  FI was going to drive me home (40 minutes from where he lived at the time!) so I could get my spare keys.  In the meantime we called a cab to get back to where his car was.   I spent 10 minutes fretting and apologizing and feeling so stupid.  Just as the cab arrived, I stick my hand casually in my pocket - in the one pocket I hadn't checked (they were supposed to be in the other pocket!) - and pull out the keys.  I just held them up, laughing and embarrassed.  He just looked at me, gave the cab driver 5 bucks, said nevermind, and laughed at me all the way home...

Haha-- Leah, yes, that, exactly.  Russia is one wild place.  I got stopped outside of the Gucci store at a mall by a police officer- I didn't have my passport, stupid me, it was in the safe at the apartment.  Anyway, He was about to cuff me before I told him "I have fifty American dollars in my back pocket, but no passport."  I reached into my (tight) backpocket, grabbed the cash, tipped his hat, and walked away. I'm glad Kent told me about the 'cash' trick- otherwise I would be typing this from a cell in Russia.

whoopps, HE reached into my pocket to grab the cash..   and NO, amsterdam is NOT the worst place to spend the night.  They have the best little cafe's!!

How did you meet your FI/DH?  We met on match.com.  But FI would never admit that to you.  I went on dates with 14 guys before I met him.  Good thing I didn't give up :)Funniest thing that has happened to you two? Let's just says it invovled us naked in the shower.

We met at church camp when we were 15, actually FI and I met at the same camp that Shazzie met her FI!There are way too many funny things but one that stands out in my mind is...FI had come to ME on a family vacation, I think we had been together for a year. My entire extended family was there. He was fishing off the dock, and I went down there to sit with him for a few. He was using my little cousins fishing rod and casted it out and the top half came off. We both kind of panicked and I told him he had to jump in and get it. So he strips down to his (cartoon) boxers and dives in. Well we caused commotion and all my relatives start to come out of the house, to see him soaking wet in just his boxers...its safe to say he survived that!

FI and I met freshman year of college.... Funniest thing: FI likes to play tricks on me....so one night I went downstairs to get piece of cake for myself and bring it back up to his room while we were watching a movie (this was in his college apartment) after I was done FI begged me to get him one so I got one for him, then went downstairs to wash my dish....when I came back up FI was done, and went to the bathroom taking the plate with him and went downstairs, I got into his bed and was watching TV while sitting up. After a while I go to lay my head on my pillow, I just fall back and slam my head on a HARD pillow and it hurt SO much, and I was so confused....FI had washed the plate in the bathroom, and put it in my pillow case...while I thought he had brought it downstairs!! He still laughs about it til this day...and I thank god he doesn't eat in his room now that we are out of school Evs- that is a ridiculous story!!! I would have been a mess after all that and been SO mad at FI haha
