so I got an email from my mum this morning telling me that oh you know, Tom Cruise is filming part of his new movie up the street from our house and they are using our grammar school as well!! Any of you knotties living in Waltham, they are filming in Warrendale and at St. Jude's off of Main Street. When I'm in Boston next week I'm totally going to be up there seeing what I can get my nose into

That's cool! I stopped at Abe & Louis' on Boyslton St on my lunch break yesterday to grab a gift card, and when I got back to my office people were talking about how he was there. I didn't see him though, but it was still pretty cool.

woot woot.  I've run into Cam Diaz before (the Urban Outfitters in Philly a few years back) and she's a complete doll in real life.  Maybe you'll see her too. Justin Timberlake on the other hand was a complete ahole.

ugh, it was the worst celebrity experience ever.  I think he was on tour and he and Cameron were shopping at Urban Outfitters.  Cameron shook hands, smiled at everyone, and even hugged adult men.  JT wouldn't even acknowledge a young boy who asked for his autograph.  I draw the line at little kids.

mrs v -yes i did!! that's too funny, when was he at our ladies?? fool-that is miserable! i cannot believe he would be like that to a kid (adult i guess i understand a little bit more) but thats just sad!

I also grew up in Waltham - near Sacred Heart Church!  Mrs. V, I just looked at your pics and I graduated HS with your husband!!  Such a small word!

Kamedio- He was at Our Lady's from K-8... but graduated Waltham High in 1998. How about you? Erica- That's too funny!! I will tell him you say hi! I hope he was nice to you !

yes, please do!  He was alwyas very nice and I love his group of friends, too!  Such a nice group of guys!

ha i was at St. Judes k-8 too! i went to a private all girls school for high school and graduated in 2001 but always nice to find fellow knotties from Waltham!

My friend met Ben Affleck at the Galleria in Cambridge the other day in the parking lot. She was so excited she took pics from her cell phone to show everyone. She always meets stars. I wish I had her luck.

Ben Affleck is directing a movie in the area, as well.  On Tuesday, he was filming in my office's parking lot--random strip mall in Somerville.  It was pretty cool watching them.  Today they were by the Boston Public Library--much more annoying as parking was impossible!
