Outfit suggestions

We're getting married in mid-June.  Our "prewedding" party is going to be at Canobie Lake Park the night before the wedding.  We will be leaving pretty much right after our rehearsal.  Any ideas on something cute to wear??  Normally I am a dress girl, but I totally want to go on some rides, and I KNOW that dresses on rides, um, usually doesn't go so well (unless you think shorts/trunks underneath would be okay?!?!).  Any ideas???  I feel like capris or something just isn't cute enough.  Oh, and I'm also into wearing white the entire weekend--even though I KNOW white and dirty seats at the amusement park don't really "go."All suggestions are welcome.  :)

I <3 Canobie!  Great idea!  I have some capris that I love that are not dressy, but a lot nicer than jeans.  You could pair it with a really cute top and heels or dressy sandals.  Like this:

I like Ekobs suggestions, and I don't think anyone would expect you to wear a dress to an amusement park. What about some "fancy" flip flops? This sounds so fun!

Ekobs: those are both super cute!  The 2nd one reminds me of that episode of SATC when Big's wife comes home early from the Hamptons & catches Carrie in the house & chips her tooth.  Oh, and we are going to Canobie bc that's where we went on our first date :)  Actually, we went there, then got Chinese food, then went to play pool--it was a marathon date!  We went to a pool hall for our engagement party, so we wanted to include Canobie somehow into our weekend.

That's so cute! You're lucky to have an option like that - I would be taking guests to KFC and the Randolph cinemas!

shazzie--that's so funny!  :)  The KFC part makes me think of my gf at work who's been with her bf for like 15+ years.  She always says that when it comes time to get married she's just going to have her "guests" caravan with like 200 cars through the McDonald's drive thru!  *grin* I guess FI was really trying to impress me with the date.  He asked me ahead of time what was my favorite thing to do on a date, and I said I liked doing something different, and I liked dates with multiple parts.  Also, apparently he really liked me and knew I was casually dating a few other guys, so he wanted to step up the competition!  He actually wanted it to keep going, but I made him take me home--it was like 2am and I had to work the next day!  (FI works from home, so he didn't care about the time).

Awww well good thing he stepped it up! He sounds so thoughtful :) It feels like FI and I had like, 3 or 4 first dates. Before we were dating and we were friends, he took me out for my 18th birthday for dinner and then to see Serendipity. Then the following summer was our KFC/another movie/drive to the end of Hull to look out over Boston date. That was a week before leaving for college. The night before I left he came over to hang out with friends. Everyone was watching a movie and we spent the whole time talking and giggling and when he left we danced under the stars and he sang me "Fly Me to the Moon". That was our first kiss, that night. And then we officially got together Columbus Day weekend. I have a hard time watching that SATC episode because I know what's coming and it's so uncomfortable to watch. Anyways, waaaay off topic. What's your favorite ride at Canobie? I love the log ride!

That's a sweet story though about dancing under the stars...awwwww! I <3 Cannonball Run!  FI likes the Pirate Ship.  So we always go on those two when we go!  :)  I also like the caterpiller bc that's *almost* where we had our first kiss.  Apparently we both wanted to kiss each other when the canopy part comes up, but we didn't.  It's going to be so much fun!  Also, we got a 55 person bus to shuttle us & our OOT guests from Boston to/from--I think just the bus ride is going to be a blast! I'm excited to find a cute amusement park outfit.  Too bad all the fall/winter stuff is coming out.  Although I might be able to score something cute from last season on sale.
