Limo Issues

Hello ladies! So I am just starting to look into limos and all that fun stuff. The groomsmen, groom, parents, bridesmaids and myself are all getting ready at a nearby hotel (about 15 minutes away from the venue). So since our ceremony and reception are at the same place, we only need the limo to drop us off, so we would be using it for 1 hour. Problem there is that every company has a 3 hour minimun and they seem unwilling to rent by the hour. I just cant grasp the idea of spending $400 on a limo for 45 minutes, but I also dont want to arrive at our wedding in my car! So my question to you guys is, were you able to finagle your way into renting by the hour, or did you just book the 3 hour minimums?  Also, do you recommend any companies? Thanks!

I used Apollo Limo in Framingham, who let me do an hour (we're in the same situation, right down the street from our venue but need to be dropped off). It was $120 for an hour, and that includes gratuity. I opted not to have any of that "white glove" service either (champagne, red carpet, etc.) - I just wanted a ride, ha! GL!

Call the front desk of your hotel, and they will be able to recommend a car service...as long as it is a real hotel and not something like a Motel 6.The car service may only be able to provide sedans, but arriving in  Lincoln Town Car  with an uniformed chauffer is better than your own personal vehicle, right?

If you go to Limos.com you can put in what you want and then limo companies will email you with quotes.  Most will negogiate with the price because they could still book something else that day if you were to only use them for an hour.

We used Brewster Coach out of Quincy - loved them!  We also had our ceremony and reception at the same place -- so we only needed them for an hour or two.  They were very flexible.  They picked us up at my moms house - we went to someplace around my town for pictures - then headed into Boston and that was that!
