Vendor inquiries

When you email a vendor that you are interested in, what time frame should they respond in? There is a particular vendor and email is the only contact info I have. I emailed, they emailed back a few days later and I responded a few days ago with questions and have not heard back yet. I'm just curious if this is something I should worry about before I book this person.

    With our venue if I email her she emails me back with 24 hours. Other vendors if I call they call me back within about 24-48 hours. I personally feel like longer than 2-3 days without a call or email back to you is to long.

    Oh and the quick turn around time of emails and calls did play a huge part in me choosing vendors.

    Ditto richkatm. There was one vendor that several girls have praised highly on the board and it took them a week to email me back! I went with someone else.

    haha I got engaged June 5, contacted someone about 2 weeks later, and I am STILL waiting for the wedding packages.  Needless to say....I booked elsewhere.  This place has also gotten great reviews!

    My actual venue used to e-mail me back within hours (each and every time I emailed with any little question). They were the best. However, some vendors were within one to two days. I agree with other people. I think anymore than a few days is rude. There was one vendor that I would have to send more than one e-mail to in order to hear back...very frustrating when you are trying to plan.

    It's am MUA so I am wondering if it's just not her full time job. I don't want to be too impatient and I really love her work. Weird part is, she confirmed me as a friend on FB today, but didn't respond to my email. I really don't want to have to go with someone else but am concerned this may happen with the wedding. Maybe she just doesn't check her emails often.

    That's strange that she would friend you but not answer your email. Maybe you got her email wrong? Double check it against her FB contact info and email her again. If you still don't hear then I would start looking else where, or try calling if there's a number on her FB.Good luck!
