Paper$ource

Hope everyone is surviving Monday afternoon!  I've spent my day avoiding work and planning out my DIY programs, menu cards, and escort cards... but before I hit the "checkout" button on my rather expensive Paper Source cart I was wondering if you had any suggestions for alternate places to buy similar/decent quality paper?  Thanks!

Yeah... paper-source is PRICEY!  I used them for all my invitation 'stuff' and couldn't regret it more-- although it was the only place I could actually go and FEEL the paper before I bought.  anchor paper gets alot of good rap on here, cards and pockets too.  I got some of my paper at the papermillstore which were great to work with.  hope that helps! Good luck!

I really like the selection at Artist and Craftsman. There's a location in Central Sq Cambridge and I think one by BU

I got almost all my stuff at envelopperinc.com. Depending on how many pocketfolds you're buying (I am not sure if you are even doing those) envelopper will be the cheapest you'll find. lci paper is pretty decent. Papersource is awesome, but expensive. What I did was went into the store and wrote down sku numbers or lot numbers for the paper and searched for it on google. Sometimes I was lucky enough to find the same thing online for a lot cheaper. I will second anchor paper. Their website is terrible, but if you call and talk to Tom and tell him exactly what you want, he will find it for you.

anchorpaper.com (a bit cheaper) cutpaperstock.com (more selection) Both companies will score and cut for a small additional fee.  You can order samples very inexpensively.  I can't imagine buying all my DIY paper needs at PS - it's highway robbery!

So far I've bought everything from paperandmore.comYou can order samples for like $0.50-1, I think.  What I've ordered so far (linen cardstock & envelopes) is very nice, and has a great "feel."  Everything came nicely wrapped--with lots of bubblewrap/packing peanuts to reduce dented corners...a couple pages had a dented corner, but I just used those for my "test" pages. HTH!
