I accidentally posted this in the nationwide forum and got my head bitten off so I'll repost it here.My wife and I are now married...the big day was on September 12, 2009
at the Boston Harbor Hotel. If you are looking for a photographer,
contact Scott Metzger of Metzger Studios. We were referred to Scott by
some friends at work. We booked an appointment and liked him instantly.
He was very personable and his work was excellent. (In fact, he had
such a great impression on us that we almost booked him without even
meeting with anybody else!) Ever since then, he has continued to exceed
my high expectations by leaps and bounds. His communication is second
to none. He replies to emails and phone calls almost instantly. He is
funny and professional. Punctual and talented. He moved around the
Church and the reception hall almost completely undetected and still
managed to get EVERY key photo. He stayed almost two hours longer than
we paid him without even mentioning it let alone charging us extra. His
prices were also way less than all of the others we met with. Three
days after the wedding we already had an amazing slideshow and less
than two weeks after the wedding he had every proof ready to go. Some
married friends were shocked at how quickly he had our pictures up. He
put everything on line for us and they came out AMAZING. I
guess I can't really say enough great things about Scott. He honestly
went above and beyond every expectation I could have had with every
aspect. He has a great personality and he is very considerate. He was
extremely professional and very passionate about his work. We got
dozens of compliments about him at the wedding and now that we are
showing off the pictures, the compliments continue to pour in. We have
already given his information out to almost a dozen friends and family
who want to use him. Now that we are trying to start a family, I will
certainly use Scott for all of my family's professional photography in
the future. I'll stop now because this is getting long and people will
probably get bored with me but you won't be disappointed....only

My wedding is next weekend and we're using Scott. I second all of the raves for him as far as personality and communication. He also did a wonderful job on our engagement pictures. I'm so excited to see what our wedding photos are like

Totally agree with your review. We used Scott for our wedding and I couldn't have been happier. Glad you had such a great experience with him. If you're willing, I'd love to see your slideshow. I love his pics

Scott's doing our wedding next April, and I couldn't be more psyched! Found out about him here on the Knot (it was eeyore's review that caught my eye initially --- thanks again)! We had a blast on our engagement shoot and got a ton of cool shots. Would love to see your slideshow if you are willing to share the link. And, by the way, congrats on your wedding!

My husband and I hired Scott Metzger to photograph our summer wedding and it was the best wedding-related decision we made. Scott was a true professional from our initial meeting to the delivery of proofs and everything in between. 

Scott has won many awards in past years for his unprecedented skills, and his work at our wedding exceeded our expectations. While he was more than willing to take standard wedding shots, Scott went above and beyond in taking creative photographs that truly made our day shine. When one of the groomsmen suggested a Beatles-esque Abbey Road shot taken on a busy downtown street Scott excitedly obliged. A little while later, Scott noticed an ice cream truck nearby; he asked the owner, got in, and took some incredibly unique shots of my husband and I from the ice cream truck window. 

Scott recently sent us a DVD of all 1000-plus images he took from our wedding. We appreciate that Scott was able to capture the true essence of the day. He photographed flawless portraits, intimate candids, and all the little details as well. After the wedding, numerous guests commented on Scott and his hard work and professionalism throughout the day. He was a true pleasure to work with and he took incredible shots without being too intrusive. My husband and I continue to look through the photos in awe; Scott managed to capture moments from our wedding and reception that undoubtedly would have been lost if we had not hired Scott. 

We would recommend Scott to any couple without reservation. He is a true gentlemen with an exceptional talent for photography. We could not be happier with each and every photo.

We stumbled upon Metzger studios during our search for a wedding photographer. We were amazed at his online portfolio and after meeting with him in person we knew instantly that he was the perfect fit for our wedding!

Scott is an amazing photographer! We recently worked with him for our October 2012 wedding and we could not be happier with the experience and our photographs. He is extremely professional and very easy to work with. He responded to phone calls and emails in a timely manor and was always offering to help with anything we needed. For two people who HATE being in front of the camera, he made the experience completely painless. It was an absolute breeze & actually a lot of fun thanks to Scott's patience, direction, and great sense of humor. He was never obtrusive or overbearing. Scott managed to capture so many great moments throughout the day/night and the camera often went unnoticed! The slideshow he created to highlight our wedding day is such a wonderful bonus. It was a nice surprise to receive it on our honeymoon!
