Really bummed (photographer)

The photographer that I have wanted to use forever is booked on the date we chose, July 9, 2011. We have only booked the church this early, and I know we could change the date. Do you have any reccomendations?

Scott Metzger- Metzger Studios. He is fabulous. I met with him based on other Knottie recommendations and I am so excited to have him shooting our wedding. If our engagement photos are any indication, we've got a lot to look forward to. We also met with Melissa Robotti and with Megan from Perspectives photography, and I would also highly recommend both of them based on the work that we saw. We had such a hard decision to make because all three photographers we met with were so talented. Good luck with your search!

If you are getting married on the cape you may be able to use my photographer from MV, Randi Baird. She is an absoulte doll and I love my pictures. It depends what style you want but we wanted a very personal intimate feel as opposed to grand photojournalistic styles and we got exactly what we have hoped for with Randi.

I was totally in love with my photographer Keith Berry.  His website is berryphotos.comHe is so nice and personable.  Most importantly his prices are very reasonable and the quality is excellent.Good luck

We chose Ashley Odell. www.aodell.com She has a great photojournalistic/artsy type of style. Her personality is also great. She thus far has been the best vendor I have worked with thus far. Returns all emails within an hour or less! For us the date did not really matter, so we were able to work around our vendors. If the actual date doesn't matter, you love this photographer, and the church is flexible, then I say change it. You are pretty far out so far, so you don't have to worry about telling a TON of people about the date change.HTH

I second Megan from Perspectives Photography.  We booked her for our May 2010 wedding, and just had our engagement shots with her last week.  She's very nice, very professional, and her work was fantastic.  We were most impressed with her detail shots- better than any of the dozens we looked at!  She shoots with a very clean, well framed, photojournalistic style.
