Cake Bakeries - Rants/Raves?

I have been researching prices for cake bakeries in Mass/Southern NH that are reasonably priced and was hoping you ladies had some input on these places...thanks so much!Cakes 5th Avenue - Pelham, NHWild Orchid Baking Company - North Hampton, NHI Dream of Jeanne - Andover, MAFrederick's Pastries - Amherst, NHThanks so much!P.S. other suggestions appreciated! :)

    I got samples from I Dream of Jeannie about a month ago and they were A-MAZING...she actually made me some funfetti cake.

    Not on your list, but we had a great experience with Hippie Chick Bakery and they are in Southern NH right across the border.  Yummy cake with fresh berries in the icing (we had raspberry chocolate cake with fresh raspberries packed into the buttercream--so good!).  And it was beautiful too, and competitively priced.

    Chicka dee Hill Bakery is also supposed to be great and very reasonable.  Mary Bandereck is great, a bit on the more expensive side though

    I am getting my cake from Wild Orchid Baking Company. Erin is so nice and was so friendly and helpful at the tasting. The cake was awesome, the type of cake I really enjoy and the fillings complimented the cake really nicely. She also will work with you to do a custom filling flavor if she doesn't already offer what you want. and found her price to be very reasonable. I also met with Shara from Chickadee Hill. Her cake was good, but FI and I liked WOBC better. Also, Chickadee Hill had a cake delivery fee while WOBC did not (I was originally at The Georgetown Club, now I am at the Indian Ridge in Andover and there is still no fee) I would also like to note that Chickadee Hill quoted us slightly higher than WOBC did, but not that much that we wouldn't have gone with the other if we liked them better. Hope this helps!! I totally recommend going to WOBC for a tasting!!!

    I am getting my cake from Bella Cakes in Marlboro, MA. Kristen has been great to work with and her prices are more then reasonable. Im very excited to see how mine comes out!!
