I have been to an event at Veronique and I thought the food was amazing.  I thought it was a beautiful venue.  The only negative is that I believe they have changed their "packages" so that you need to book the vendors through them in order for it to count towards your event minimum.  The people who held the event I went to wanted to do another there this year but it was going to be much more expensive under this structure.  (they were quoting the vendors higher than they had paid for the same vendors that they had booked for the first event on their own)  If budget is not a constraint I would go for it!

I had my wedding this past March at the Veronique.  It was an absolutely wonderful day.  Food was top notch, the coordinator we had through Veronique was amazing and brought my vision to life.  If you want a unique venue this place is just AWESOME!  I have to admit I was under the old contract and I hear things have changed a bit that way but if you have specific questions e-mail me.  dq 1479 at gmail dot com.

I'm having my wedding at Veronique in 1 month and have been really happy with them so far.  Things have changed since the time we booked, but I have heard nothing about them restricting your vendor selection.  We have no vendors that are through them.  The one thing that has changed is the menu selection.  You no longer select from a list of appetizers, entrees, etc.  You meet with your coordinator and discuss your ideas, favorite foods, style of the wedding etc, and they come up with a custom menu for you.  They are willing to work with you on the cost, and we're having a much better menu than one we would have selected previously.  I'm so happy that I'm having my wedding there.  Hope that helps!

I had my wedding on at Veronqiue last New Years Eve. Everything was beautiful and amazing!! The food was fantastic and I still get compliments today on the food and the entire venue itself. You really can not go wrong with Veronique. It is truly a unique and special place to hold your reception and everyone there is a pleasure to work with. Please feel free to contact me should have any other specific questions. Also, I was under the old contract with no vendor obligations and chose my food from a list of options.

I am having my wedding at Belle Mer, another Longwood Events location.  Here is how the contract works.  They set an Event Minimum for your event based on the date, time, space, etc.  Your site fee, ceremony fee, food, beverages and any vendors you book through them counts towards that fee.  The vendor fee I explain below also counts. Each vendor you book on your own, outside of Longwood, will incur a $500 fee.  It is $250 for me because I asked and I asked them to waive one fee and they agreed.  They will work with ANY vendor and you are not limited to a preferred vendor list.  No vendor fee for your officiant.  If you book a vendor through Longwood they will add 30% to the price of the vendor's fee.  If you book your vendor through them, they will take care of everything with respect to that vendor.  They will pay for the vendor's meals and pay the vendor's tip.      My goal is to stay as close to my Event Minimum as possible and then book the rest of my vendors on my own.  As of right now I booked my band through them and that may be all I do and the rest I will do on my own.  Also, I was nervous about the cost of my menu since that is not set in advance.  So, I picked out what I thought I might like and I had them set a maximum price for what that menu would be at the time of my wedding.  That is attached as part of my contract.  Let me know if you have any other questions.
