How often did your vendors keep in contact with you? I'm getting nervous because I haven't heard from a few vendors. Anyone have Catherine Morris as your photographer? How often did she keep in contact with you throughout the planning? I was suposed to meet my dj and haven't heard from him either. I hope this isn't a bad sign. Hope someone can hep. Thanks

You still have a LOT of time. I didn't see our photographers at all between our initial meeting and our wedding day.  I occasionally emailed with pics that I liked and when I had questions, but that was it. As for a DJ, after the initial meeting I see no real need to meet again.  We had a band, and I actually booked them based solely on a CD and reviews.  I never met them until my wedding day.

I don't hear much from my vendors unless I contact them for something.  I expect to hear from them more regarding final times, locations, payments, etc, when I get within 3 months of the wedding.  Until then, I don't think you have anything to worry about unless you need something specific.If you'd like to meet your DJ and haven't yet, you should contact them and arrange a time.  Sometimes you need to be proactive to get stuff done on your timeline.

I only kept in touch with them to plan in the beginning -- and not again until a few weeks before the wedding. Some have even become good friends on FB! Don't worry -- they're probably just busy. Has it been over 48 hours?

I emailed my photog a couple of times to schedule e-pics and then my florist a few times to talk about some revisions (an extra BM bouquet, outside ceremony) and my officiant to discuss the ceremony, but not much beyond that.
