Invitations

Good Morning everyone,I am wondering where everyone is ordering their invitations from?I don't know what the cheapest route to go is?? I am not crafty at all so I can't see myself doing any printing or putting together anything myself. Any suggestions would be great!!Thanks! :)

I highly recommend ETSY. You can put a price range in when you search, and if you don't see something that you like, you can always put an alchemy request in. GL!

ditto the Etsy rec.  We used MapleMountainDesign for our programs, menus, etc., and she was great to work with.

Esty is great from what I hear all the time on her. I am not sure where you are located, but I worked with Angela at Love, Luxe and Bliss in Walpole, MA and she was really awesome. She didn't make the invites or anything, but she was a great laison between the company and you. She has invites in all price ranges as well.

Ditto Etsy. We used Lindsey Ryan Designs. I am a bit biased, but I've never seen anything like what she came up with for my invites, programs, etc--LOVED. Photos in bio.

I really like some of the invitations on:http://www.weddingpaperdivas.com/www.weddingpaperdivas.com">Wedding Paper DivasThey have great designs and I think their prices are pretty good.  I have heard some people say the paper isn't the highest quality, but if you like a design you can always order a sample.PS.  listed twice in an attempt to make a clickable link.  Hope it worked!

I used www.alaunbydesign.com I liked how they had a lot of different styles then you can customize yours by changing font, paper and ribbon colors, etc.  Prices are great - I paid $2.85 for my invitation set which included Main invitation, RSVP card, Reception card, thank you notes, all the envelopes for those and return address printing on the envelopes.

Shindy, my sis does invites, and she is actually goin to be doing my wedding invites for me.  She just opened up an Etsy shop and doesn't have a ton of pics up yet, but she can do pretty much anything you want.  Let me know if you want her name!

I am not sure where you are located but we worked with Elaine at Paper Potpourri in Haverhill. She has literally 100's of binders of invitations and is capable of working with a variety of budgets. We told her our budget, colors, and setting and she pulled binders that would accommodate our needs. She is intense but knows her stuff! We ordered BT Elements folded invitations from her. They also did our addressing and we ordered our thank you's and personalized stationary through them. GL!

I'm making our invitations.  I think price depends on what you need to include and what style you are looking for.  You can buy invitations at TJ Maxx/Home Goods or on sale at Michael's for as little as $0.50 each (maybe less), and the girls here could help you with the wording & printing part.  Usually they are fairly simple: invitation, reply card & envelope, directions card, outer envelope, maybe inner envelope (depending on style), and sometimes include thank you cards & envelopes, directions card, and reception card. The invitations I'm making are gonna cost us about $1.18 each, plus $0.27 for thank you cards + envelopes...and then postage on top of that.  They consist of: outer envelope, invitation, 5 flat inserts, 1 folded insert, reply card + envelope (we have a ton of inserts, so they add up).You can buy invitations online or in a store probably starting around $1 each, and the sky's the limit depending on how complex a style/design you want.  You can find pretty invites for any budget, maybe if you post some styles you like we can direct you specifically where to go.  Etsy alchemy request is a great way to get something specific as well.
Yay! Finally able to update my signature :)
