Locations in Hudson Valley and beyond

I'm looking for a barn/farm wedding location not too far from NYC. We don't mind going a couple hours outside of the city. This could be Hudson Valley/Westchester/NJ/CT. We're also doing our wedding on a Monday this October. Well that's what we're looking for anyway. Any location suggestions?

You may want to google Sussex County Conservatory - at the fairgrounds. It may actually be a barn. GL

Edit: they do weddings there, have never been but that whole area is farms so I'm of the impression it may be too.

When searching for venues I came across this place and absolutely loved it. I contacted them to inquire about the price and found out that it is WAY out of our price range. I have no idea what your budget is, but I thought I'd send it your way.

You can check out some of the wineries on the Shanwangunk Wine Trail.  Lots of them have barn areas where they hold weddings.

I would check out Shadow Lawn (http://www.shadowlawnny.com/), Oak Hill Estate (http://livingstonwedding.com/), or Mount Gulian (http://www.mountgulian.org/).  I've seen them all and they've all got great barns, plus they're all reasonably priced.  Good luck!

I have heard of kids b day parties and Art expos at ,Tilly Foster  Farm , in Brewster .  Don't know if they do weddings but theres only one way to find out   lol lol   .  Good Luck and congratulations !!
