Another RD Dress??

Would you do white/ivory or a color so that you can have more uses for it?

I see two ways to look at this: 1) Choose white/ivory because you'll never be a bride again and you want or have a chance to wear it again. 2) Choose a color for re-wearability. I would choose a colored dress hands down, but I'm sometimes too practical for my own good.  If you pick a colored dress you can spend more on it because you'll wear it to other weddings and events in the future!

Ivory- this is for your day. You can always wear ivory again...dress it up with gold accessories for date night with your hubby! Or, add a cute colored pashmina- the possibilities are endless, really.

Ditto clb. I don't think it would be hard to wear again.

I'd say go for white or ivory, it's great for wearing again in the warmer months :)

The etsy dress looks very versatile, even in white or ivory.  In the summer, you can pair it with a light cardigan and wedges as a work outfit.  And I'd wear the dress on a nice weekend shopping trip.  Also, there's no rule against wearing a white dress to a friend's bridal shower, grad party, etc.If you're going to order a white satin strapless dress, then yes, it will collect dust in your closet and be very impractical.

I say go for white or ivory - only a bride once in your life - you should live it up in white :) And that dress is definitely one that you can dress up and dress down depending on the occasion! Go for it :)

I'd do ivory. I don't think it'd be hard to wear again like pp said and this is your event!

My dress was white. I actually love wearing white....so I tend to wear it a lot. I don't see why it would deter you from wearing it again. I can understand if it's your wedding dress, not the RD dress. :o)

I don't see why it would be more difficult to wear a short white dress again. Obviously you couldn't wear it to a wedding but anywhere else sure.So with that said, ignore the color and pick the one that speaks to you! :-)
