invite vendor recs?

we looked into letterpress, rather we looked into letterpress pricing and that was hilarious. i think my budget almost peed its pants from laughing too hard. we're not really feeling any invites in papyrus or similar stores ... and DIY is prob not going to happen. : /does anyone have any recommendations for wedding invite vendors? (etsy/graphic designers/independent printers/anyone!)oof.thanks!!! : )

Hi Blush! I got a few samples from Etsy and my absolute favorite was Taylor's Paperie. Hers was so pretty and the quality was excellent. I'm def. going to use her (there is no way I would even come close to it if I was to tried to make it on my own).

do you have any inspiration pictures?  etsy has tons of stuff, but it's hard to know where to start.  We got invitations from checkerboard (Papyrus), and a lot of paper products (programs, menus) from MapleMountainDesigns on etsy www.maplemountaindesigns.com.I've seen cute stuff from White Aisle.Beautiful and original stuff from Momental Designs:http://www.momentaldesigns.com/...I think prices start around $7 a set or so, but you should check--it's on the website.Wiley Valentine has lovely stuff--not all of which is letterpress.http://www.wileyvalentine.com/

I'm using Impress Me Designs.  They are based in NH but Celeste, the owner, met me in Burlington to show me her portfolio and discuss her invitations.  Everything is 100% custom made and was extremely high quality.  Check them out!!

Hi Blush-- I really liked my shower invites from Weddingpaperdivas (thats where my stepmom ordered from...) fast shipping and pretty affordable. Their paper was really REALLY good quality, and I think she only paid like $2.50 an invite which included matching thank you cards with my name printed on them and envelopes with the same little cherry blossom design--- my husband is Japanese, so the cherry blossoms really hit home for us. ps: not all letterpress is crazy priced, just those that think they can get away with it. ;)  From one blush to another...
