Tip Guidelines?

Does anyone know the general tipping guidelines for waiters, barstaff, event coordinators, valets, etc, for weddings in the Westchester Co. area?

Thanks!

It is usually a required 3-5% for the maitree.  It will state in the contract.  That fee will go towards the waiters, barstaff, valets.

My place included everything in the pricing and said we could tip extra if we wanted to... I don't personally think thats necessary

RE: pp - When you check your contract, it will usually state what you Need to give the maitre 'd. Find out where that money goes. Sometimes it goes ONLY to the maitre d' and the staff gets none of it. Make sure to ask your venue how the waitstaff and bartenders get paid/ tipped. Every place is different.
