Providence Bachelorette?

hi girls,
Has anyone had their bachelorette or been to one in Providence?  If so, what did you do and where did you stay?
We're going there for my bachelorette and I'm trying to give my bridesmaids a few ideas.  We're thinking a spa party then bars and overnight at a downtown hotel.
Any advice is appreciated!

I have never been to a bachelorette in Providence... but I did live there for 4 years through college.
There are great restaurants and Bars there.... as far as hotel If you are looking for something a little more swanky I would go with either the westin or the Biltmore.
There are a ton of Bars in downtown providence.... just be aware there are a lot of colleges in Providence for such a small city so the bars get packed with college kids unless its the summer.

The mall has 2 spas, but they are both very pricey. I second PP's hotel recs. There are plenty of bars around both, and plenty of good food, too!

My favorite restaurant is Tazzas on Westminster St. They do live music every night after 10. On weekends after 10 pm, you have to be 21+ to get in. But their food is delicious and their drinks are really good. Don't be afraid of bad reviews on google. It's not a place you want to go if you are in a big hurry, but for one to chill out, relax, enjoy the music... it's perfect. And their chocolate mousse tower is, quite simply, the best chocolate mousse I've ever had.

If the weather is nice, there is plenty to do within walking distance of the Biltmore. Parking is a pain in that part of the city though.
