Massachusetts-Boston

reccommend a weekend getaway for my fiance's b-day?

Maine or New hampshire within 2 hrs of Boston. Any ideas or places to stay bed and breakfast or where to go. Not from the area.
Thanks

I love the Green Mountain Inn in VT.  I know not Maine or NH but its in a cute area.

North Conway has a bunch of bed and breakfasts that are nice.

I suggest looking at VacationOutlet.com  you can find awesome deals on that.

I've stayed up in North Conway at the Residence Inn Marriott and it was amazing! We were in the center of town and right near all the outlets :) also they have Cranmore Mountain walking distance to the hotel Goodluck :)

Kittery ME is nice if you want to go shopping, plenty of outlets.  North Conway NH is nice as well.

I love the Woodstock Inn in Vermont.    Woodstock is beauty and charming. We had a couples massage done at a spa in town and it was amazing.

I'd recommend Ogunquit, ME.  We went for a weekend last winter and had so much fun!  It is a little more dead in the winter, but it is like 15 mins from Kittery for shopping and like 20 mins from Portsmouth, NH.  I love Portsmouth for great restaurants and fun boutique shopping.  We had a blast!

North Conway! One of my favorite places to travel in any season and so much to do. Eastern Mountain Slope Inn- right in the center of town, has indoor pool. Red Jacket Inn right in the center of town has indoor waterpark and pools etc. very new and modern but very family friendly. The Knotchland Inn- very secluded romatic in the woods, relaxing but very "innish" HTH

If you stay somewhere near Laconia, NH, there are sleigh rides at Gunstock that are very reasonable and super fun.
