rehearsal dinner in north end recs?

Has anyone had/been to a rehearsal dinner in the North End that they would recommend? So far we looked at Tresca and ruled it out because the only space they offered up intermingled with the main dining rm/bar (we want a separate room). We are considering Fiore and have about 27 people attending. Anyone have experience with Fiore or have recs for other venues?

The rehearsal is on a Friday night.

I have been to Fiore for a work event and can say that they do a good job and their room upstairs can be rented for private functions.

Off the top of my head I can't think of too many places in the north end that have separate function rooms, they are all so tiny. I think La Famiglia Giorgio might have a private room, but in my opinion the food at Fiore. Mamma Maria also has function rooms and excellent food, but is probably a little pricer than Fiore.

Bricco does private functions- they use their upstairs room, and keep the downstairs bar (and a few tables around the bar) open to the public. The food is delicious- it's my favorite restaurant in the North End.

Fiore is great, I've been there for a private birthday and they did a great job. Bricco is also fantastic. Piccolo Venezia has a private downstairs and they can accomodate a large group as well. I recommend all three.

The Florentine is amazing. They have a private room downstairs as well.

I love Bacco Ristorante on Salem Street. They have an upstairs that they'll rent out for functions. Depending on what time of the year your wedding is, they have beautiful tall windows that they open up which are decorated with gorgeous flower boxes. It's really pretty.
