FI's siblings drive me crazy. He has a younger brother and sister with whom he is very close, but they have never been very nice to me (for YEARS) and I don't even think they are really supportive of him. He was talking with them both last night (conference call) and they were asking about our rehearsal dinner. We're going to keep it cheap, and we thought it would be fun to order pizza from our favorite restaurant and just have a low key party at our house. Just fun and cheap since we are paying for the whole wedding, RD, everything ourselves. He tells them this and they say how "lame" that is and it is not fancy enough for a RD! Ugh, how RUDE! Then, they are talking about the guest list and I overhear that his sister wants to invite her highschool friend, who I have only met once and we both don't like. I'm hoping she was kidding, but FI wasn't sure. ARGH! Anyway, this all just makes me even more furious since FI's sister just got married last year, so you would think she'd understand how rude and obnoxious she's being. Of course she managed to get FI's parents to pay for her whole wedding, so maybe she just doesn't get it.
Sorry, vent over. I just can't believe how rude some people can be!
On the upside: 2 big checks this weekend! We ordered our STDs and put together our wedding website! A little late on the STDs, but I don't care! Yay!
