need help with wedding planning

Hello,

I am getting married Sep. 12 at VIP country club. I started planning my wedding last months, so I am a little behind the schedule. I never planned a wedding so any suggestions would be appreciated. So far all I did is book reception hall and church. I ordered my dress 2 days ago. I am trying to look for bridesmaids dresses, but haven't found anything that I like. So I have few questions. Can anyone suggest a good DJ? I am Russian and my Fiancee is Greek, so I would need someone who can accommodate both sides. I am also looking for a good but reasonable photographer.

    i highly recommend contacting paul from big apple entertainment in larchmont, ny. i got married at vip and used them. they were phenomenal. will work in any budget and by far were my most accommodating and flexible and pleasant vendor. our dance floor was packed all night and they have all different pacakages. my husband is a pakistani muslim and i am an italian jew. if paul could accommodate our wedding and keep the dance floor packed, i'm sure he cna do the same for you!
    also, there is a sister/subsidiary photog/videog company through big apple. they will customize a package for you for all 3 services. by doing photog/videog/and music all thru one company i saved a LOT of money.

    if you do photog thru them, ask to work wtih tom - he was a pleasure and our photos are gorgeous!

    You can also try Jimmy Dee.  I personally feel that Big Apple and JImmy Dee are on the same league, and both do a great job!  Jimmy Dee also has a video/photog sister company too that you could look at.

    Hi i am getting married at the vip on Sept 17.2010 ! We are using Jimmie Dee and there sister company Fantasy Flash they are really good we felt so comfortable with them. I have also hear wonderful  things about big apple. I saw them at a bridsl show at they were really good. Good Luck

    I actually met with them 2 days ago, and I believe he spoke about your wedding. He gave me a price for video, photography and DJ, but I wanted to shop around to see what was the going rate. Thank you for your help.

    Thank you everyone for your help. I already met with Big apple and I called to schedule appointment with Jimmy Dee. Will keep you posted on my decision.
