Reasonably Priced Veil

Good Morning! I am hoping to order my veil soon and need some help! Do any of you have recommendations for websites with inexpensive, good quality veils?? Thanks so much for your help!

I am a big advocate for handmade veils. When I first saw how much veils cost, I knew I wouldn't ever spend hundreds on something I could make myself. If you are interested in something simple (for example, a mantilla veil would not be easy to make), its pretty easy and you could make one for less than 20 bucks. Plenty of website have instructions.

I made my veil. I need to add some beading and dye it and its done.  Truely my procrastination is what's taking so long. If I just sat down and did it, it would take maybe a few hours total.

eBay! I got a beautiful mantilla, chapel-length veil there for 1/3 of the price that the bridal store wanted to charge.

My sister got a very nice, simple veil from David's Bridal. She had a terrible time trying on dresses there, but the veil was just what she was looking for and cost about $70 vs $500 for one that was very similar at the bridal store. I plan to wear it at my wedding, too!

eBay!! They have veils on there for $20 and I know a couple other knotties have purchased from there and say the quality is great. You only wear it for, like, an hour, so I can't see spending so much on a veil either.

I think I may go with Veilshop.com.  I requested a sample from them, and I loved the various colors I could order.  And they are very reasonable!  I'm not sure about the quality.

I ordered my veil from Candi Merle at Crowning Glory Veils in L.A. She gets awesome reviews on Project Wedding and the L.A. and OC Knotties love her. She's making a cathedral length mantilla with alencon lace edging for $285. This is pretty much the same thing my dress shop wanted to charge me $750 for...

Are you looking to get a veil on-line?  I have been looking too, so far the only site I have seen with veils that I like was wedding-veil.com.  Let me know if you find any other sites! :)
