wedding day timeline

hey ladies!

I am about 40 days out (ahh!) and am freaking out about the time line. Where can i plan this out correctly (is there a template online ?) I feel like nothing is planned and we are going to end up winging everything...i feel like this is a feature that should be included on the knot "myknot", however since it isnt how have/did you created your wedding day timeline?

    You should talk to all your vendors and ask them what kind of time they require to do what they need to do. Then you can plan when people need to be where for what. For example, if the photographer needs an hour before the ceremony to take pics of you and family, then schedule hair and makeup to start a few hours before that.

    During the actual ceremony and reception, your venue coordinators should be able to help you with this. They may have ideas on what works well for timing at their particular venue.

    I am starting to think about this myself, and I'm also adding in plenty of extra time between appointments or driving in case we run behind.
