Hi Ladies,
I am new to posting, but I have been stalking the boards for a few months now, so I figure I should dive in already.
I am interested in possibly booking the band Beantown for my May 2013 wedding in Cambridge. Unfortunately they don't do showcases, nor are they forthcoming about any of their currently scheduled events. Though I have listened to their website and read reviews, I would really like to see them in person before committing.
Does anyone know of any upcoming performances? Or even better, if you have booked them for your wedding and would be willing to give me the details, I would be truly grateful if you let my fiance and I come for 30-60 minutes to observe. We would dress appropriately and stand in the back (you won't even know we are there) and we promise not to eat any of the food or drink any booze

Any other suggestions for how to see the band before booking would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. If it is really bad form to ask to go to a random wedding to see the band, I apologize. I don't want to offend anyone. I was just told it was pretty common to discreetly "crash" events (with appropriate permission of course) to check out vendors.
