Married Ladies- How often do you watch your wedding video?

I am curious because I didn't originally build it into our budget. After hearing that a lot of brides regret not getting a videographer, I thought twice and booked a new videographer starting out in the business because he was affordable.

After receiving a sample DVD- I was not crazy about his work...like at all. I found a company that would be $1,000 more than the person I originally booked, but the work is MUCH better. I am a bit frustrated and don't even know if it is worth all this money. Especially since we splurged on getting the photographer we wanted.

I keep going back and forth on what to do. With 2.5 months until my wedding I really need to make a decision ASAP. Any thoughts would really be appreciated.

I was one of those brides that had the regret of not having one so we booked one 12 days before our wedding - no regrets now!

We watched our video when it arrived about a month after our wedding and then again with my ILs and my family when we gave them their dvds...I know we won't watch it regularly but to have it and all of the memories, some of which one or both of us missed during the big day, is something we'll always treasure.

I guess it depends on how important quality is...our vows were important to us and we would have hired anyone to film those, we lucked out getting an amazing deal on a great videographer though

We watched it with different family members when we first got it, and now we are making it a tradition of watching it on our anniversary every year.

Loved our videographer - Barry Pugatch.  his site is terrible, but his work is great. http://bluechipvideoproductions.com/index.html

We watched ours a few times when we first got it with our respective families.  We also watched it on our anniversary.

We got one. I think we watched it once with some people who never made it to ceremony shortly after the wedding. 8 years later, that was the only time.
