FI and I had been planning to have an inexpensive catered party at my parents house for the rehearsal dinner. Now my Mom has made the point that since her party planner is helping with the wedding, and she (party planner) is the person who always takes care of the clean-up and such after my parents throw a party, it doesn't make sense to have the RD at their house because they wouldn't have her to do it (i.e. clean up). I'm inviting about 150 people (11-11-11 wedding) and so far everyone I've spoken with has said they are coming (not sure if this will be the case when the actual invites go out) so I need a place that can accomodate a large group of people for very little money. FI and I live in Dot, but are having the wedding and reception in Brookline, that is also where the OOTs are staying. Anyone have any suggestions? Much appreciated!
